This is the Old One Mile interferometer 30sec, f4, ISO 800 150 images stacked in Affinity, while the cameras were set on Timelapse we observed this satellite getting brighter and then darker and watched it traverse the sky repeating this motion but still quite faint, we then saw the ISS followed by crew Dragon but this was out of shot. This took about 1-1/2 hours to shoot and we had permission to allow us on site.

I met ?Miss Whiskey Twist? during a group shoot organised at a local photography studio. I hadn?t had my camera for long, so as a novice photographer I found it quite daunting working with a professional model. However I think she could see my obvious nervousness and helped me relax by making the shoot fun. As soon as I started to relax we both got into our groove and the shots seemed to flow. This was one of them taken that day.

This shot was taken along with 3000 others images on my first ever photo shoot during Covid. I hired a model I had seen and had come to do pool shots with another Photographer and he suggested I hire her and conceptualize the shoot. I?m not a professional and had no props but I bought some fabric and I used my leaf blower to make that effect. I periodically go back to those pictures and rework them with my iPhone apps for varying effects. You can see more of my work on Instagram. That day creat

Thank you for considering my photo for Photo of the Week! I have a number of bottle brush trees in my back yard, and birds love the blossoms when they bloom in the Spring. I usually see numerous hummingbirds and sparrows, but I saw this gorgeous bird one afternoon resting in the branches. I was able to get a couple of shots off before it flew away.
